Hi, trying to make some Fantasy Magically colors
on Jun 25, 2015 at 1:04:04 pm

Aiming for something like this
bright colors, primarily pink, purple, blue,... low in green.

Just wanted to see if people have any good tips.

I tried getting Magic Bullet Looks, the tech support said I need 1GB graphics memory (my is apparently too low at 64MB; causing MBL plugin cause error to my Sony Vegas when I try using it.Any other recommended free/trial color correction packs/presets?
This is the video which I wanna make it pink, purple, like that above.

1. I sense it has something to do with Color Correction. Was wondering where else could I get a free/trial Color Correction pack/ preset which could do something fantasy magically
2. I was thinking perhaps a Sin City effect, make everything grey then start emphasizing pink/purple. I am not sure if more than one color is possible?
3. I tried testing by playing around Hues/ Saturation on a picture; (did it on Paint.Net), the results were acceptable. However, i could not seem to be able to replicate the results on Sony Vegas.

Many thanks.

You can make any color you like using the Color Curves function built into SVP. Color Curves allows you to adjust each of the three primary colors (red, green, and blue). CC also lets you establish nodes on each curve so that you can control each color at a particular luminance level. So, for example, you can create Cyan by increasing the colors red and green while leaving blue either unchanged or reduced. A knowledge of color theory is very helpful, but you can also use something like Photoshop to tell you the component parts of a specific color.
