Save trimmed Audios

Hello everybody,

before all I'm gonna say, it's important to know that I work with audio/music production and may not understand everything you're gonna say, but I'll do my best.

I'm editing live music videos through SV13 and found that so discussed "Create trimmed copies of source media". But here and at anothers foruns I just found help a discussions about how to trimm videos, not audio. Now I've to send the cutted audios to mix and master and I'm not finding a easy way to do that.

Any help? Thanks!

What system are you sending them to? If it's Pro Tools, try File | Export | Pro Tools AAF File....

You can also try my free VASST Trackalizer. It will output audio tracks as separate files.

The audio editor uses Logic and I use Ableton Live. Anyway its good to know that I have this option, thank you for your response. What I've been doing til now was save file by file as .wav. But I'm working on music projects, 5minutes movies. I think must have a better way to do this, or would be a nightmare do bigger projects through SV.

And tomorrow I'll try your VASST plugin. It will work with SV13?

Yes it works with Vegas Pro 13.0. I need to update the product page (thanks for reminding me) ;-)

John, it worked great! Thanks a lot. Your script plugin fits perfectly my need. Just a sugestion, may be better (i think) have a option where the file name is the same of the file in the track, not the track number.

Anyway, thanks a lot!

RD.

It only uses the track number of the track doesn't have name. Otherwise it uses the track name so name your tracks and the files will have the correct names.
