I often load onto the PC all of the latest video files with the intention of using there is some project at some later date. After deleting shots that I would never use I find that some of these clips are too long or will need some stabilizing done on them.
I was wondering what is the best way to reduce file storage while keeping these clips.
For instance some I might just want to trim because they are too long or there is some unforeseen event happens like someone walking across is front of camera as you were shooting.
What is the best settings to just save the trimmed copy & save it in the same format? Just do a 'save as' using the same settings as the original & add say an 'a' to end of name & then go delete the original.
When using Version 10 you can use stabilization just by right clicking. Is it possible to use key frames & stabilization at the same time so that stabilization gets progressively more or less at time progresses?
