Continued Problem Rendering MPEG

My renders, which are very long, stall midway through the render. Any ideas why? (I've got two clients waiting so I'm dying here.)

As always thanks so much to you guys...Johnny In Orlando

Render out in a Quicktime format first!

Try rendering to MXF first and then from there to MPEG.

Which MXF pre-set? Then how to get to MPEG from there? Create another vegas timeline, load it with the rendered MXF file then render to MPEG?

[John Perez] "Which MXF pre-set?"

I would use the HD EX 1920x1080-60i preset but choose the one that's closest to your project settings.

"Then how to get to MPEG from there? Create another vegas timeline, load it with the rendered MXF file then render to MPEG?"

Correct. Good luck.
