I am looking for a similar video transitions

I used to use the program Cinelerra
Below - description of the video-transition ( program Cinelerra)
Does such a video-transition in program Sony Vegas and how it is called?
Advice please.

This effect allows displacing, cropping, and/or scaling the source video horizonally and/or vertically. The In and Out parameters operate similar to the camera and projector functions in the Compositor:

In X/Y specifies how many pixels from the left/top of the source you want to start (camera) while Out X/Y defines where on the screen you want the output to start (projector)
In W/H defines how many pixels of the source you want to include in each direction while Out W/H defines how many pixels on the screen you want that source to take up. Identical values for both In and Out that are less than the source dimension will simply crop the source. Different values will stretch (or compress if Out > In) the source in that direction (and crop if In is less than the source dimension.)

This effect supports keyframes so these parameters can change smoothly over time.

You can use this effect for many things such as having a cropped inset clip move across the screen, or have it change size or stretch while doing so. Be forewarned though, that for interlaced footage horizontal displacements are likely to destroy the field order, resulting in all sort of flickering and jumping movements.

It sounds like you may want to use the Pan/Crop tool in Vegas Pro. This will allow you to crop and/or stretch video if you disable "Maintain Aspect Ratio". You can also reposition it using keyframes to move it around the screen. The Pan/Crop tool is on the right side of every event on the timeline. Look up Pan/Crop in the help and it will probably show you.

Thank you for your response. I'm new to this program. This effect ( Cinelerra) in French called deplacer
I want to make this:

Can I do this with Pan/Crop ? Or maybe it requires a separate tool?

[Otto Schulz] "Can I do this with Pan/Crop ? Or maybe it requires a separate tool?"
Yes, you can do this with Pan/Crop by enlarging the crop which makes the frame smaller. Sometimes this effect is called "Picture-in-Picture" (PIP). You can also do this with Track Motion but Track Motion will affect the entire track so anything placed on it would get smaller. If you just want to affect a single event, use Pan/Crop.

If you have Vegas Pro, you can download VASST PIP Selector and it will do the cropping for you. This is a free plug-in from us. It does not work with Movie Studio, just Vegas Pro.
