Importing .MOV

When I try to import .MOV (H264) to Vegas 11 I get the error "none of the files dropped on vegas pro could be opened". In the last time I had this problem, I just had to install QuickTime, but now I'm stuck (is the same camera that I recorded the videos). I have already installed many plugins, but don't work. =/

Thanks, and sorry for any English errors. I'm Brazilian.

Do the files open in the QuickTime Player?

What version of Vegas Pro are you using?

What version of QuickTime is installed?

Not all versions of QuickTime work with all versions of Vegas Pro.

One thing you can try is to rename one of them them from .mov to .mp4 and see if that helps. (it may not but it's worth a try)

Yes, it open.
Vegas Pro 11.0 (Build 682)
QuickTime 7.7.5 (but i tried the 7.6.2 version too)

Hmm.. I'll try others QuickTime versions.

I already tried this. XD

Thanks for reply, John.

Ok. I have the same Vegas working on my notebook, it import this MOV files normally. The Notebook have the QuickTime 7.7.4, so I installed it here in my Desktop and the problem is the same. "none of the files dropped on vegas pro could be opened"

So I think is not a problem with QuickTime. =/

Wow, that's even worse. Something about our desktop is causing this not to work since your laptop works with the exact same software levels and files.

I wish I know what to tell you (other than rebuild your desktop OS) :( Try re-install Vegas Pro? (just a guess)

SOLVED
I copied the "Sony" and "QuickTime" folders of the my Notebook's Program Files folder to my Desktop's Program Files, replacing the old folders.

This was really confused.
Thanks, John.

Wow, glad you got it working. That was an odd one.
