Audio Copied to Other Area of same track sounds different
on Jun 19, 2014 at 6:08:02 pm

Hello Everyone:

I am experiencing something odd.

I have a monologue in one area of the track that I have copied to another area on the same track with the same settings. The copied track sounds completely different. I tested it and added another track and placed that audio in the same position on the other track and the same thing happened. If the audio was aligned with the original position, it sounded the same. When I moved it to the other position, it sounded different.

Has anyone ever experienced this?

Many thanks,

Debbie

Check audio effects applied to the track and master track.
Check audio envelopes (make sure you see them via View > Show Envelopes)

Thank you Aleksey:

I forgot that I had duplicated the monologue on a different track. That is why the dialogue came out louder.

Thank you.

Best,

Debbie

Yes, you have to be careful when copying and duplicating
tracks or events, everything carries over with it.
