OT-FTP Client suggestions?
on Jun 16, 2014 at 1:10:17 am

I'm trying to upload some video files that are over 2GB in size. I've used YouSendIt (now Hightail)... but I've had issues with that service due to a lack of speedy tech support. I have a Pro subscription that is supposed to allow up to 10GB file size but it's preventing me from anything larger than 2GB and no tech support response.

Anyone have other alternatives that are easy to use and not loaded with malware or viruses? I've thought about Filezilla but am leery of free "open source" FTP.

Thanks in advance,

Chaz

I've been using Filezilla for years - It does everything you would want from a FTP client. It amazes me that people would still pay for one.

+1 for FileZilla.

I use it on my Mac and my PC. Great program.

Chas, just in case, you need to get filezilla from the right place, e.g.

https://filezilla-project.org/

on that front page they tell you how to verify that the software is the correct. They also tell you about the "software bundlers" that cause the problems.
