For those that utilize the Thunderbolt connection, this is a pretty sweet dual disk drive PORTABLE drive that can accommodate RAID 0 or RAID 1. Available in 2 or 4 TB with built-in Thunderbolt cable. Available directly from Western Digital:

True, bigger would be better. I have been using their portable USB 3 drives for a few years now with no problems. I'm just a bit worried if it is buss powered because RAID arrays are notoriously sensitive to power issues. As it is portable, you would also most likely be using a laptop. I showed it to one of my IT manager friends and he insists that "RAID Array" + "Portable" is an oxymoron!
