Sony Vegas pro 15 multiple crashes within 15 minutes

Hi, Im sorta frustrated because all i want to do is edit this video of mine but sony vegas keeps crashing saying "sony vegas has stopped responding" I waited for about 6 minutes hopefully making sony vegas start responding again but it didn't. I was forced to close out of the application and this repeated 4 or 5 times. I'm pretty frustrated actually, making a second complaint in the same week even while having problems the previous days as well.

I'm using Sony Vegas pro 15.
My Specs:

NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1070

When Vegas is crashing so frequently, it is normally due to a conflict with something installed on your system, for example with graphics card driver, a bad VST audio plugin, an intrusive software etc, etc.

What exactly are you doing the precise moment Vegas stop responding? And what video format you most often use when this occurs?

I'm having the same sort of problems with Vegas 17 which I never had with Vegas 14.
In addition just bring up the "rendering" menu also hangs up very often.
Very frustrating.

Roger, Vegas 17 then is having an issue with something on your system, very hard to suggest what it could be..... Vegas 17 is 100% stable for me and stress free, as with all previous Vegas versions, but i run very minimalistic and tight editing computer systems, No updates, No GPU (Focus is on CPU), etc, etc...... but that cant go for everyone.

Vegas Pro 17 i notice from many users is very finicky, if it has even the slightest conflict with a bad driver, a bad vst plugin, an intrusive software install, an incompatible ofx plugin etc, it's gonna start crashing or locking up, but if your system is free of these nags, Vegas 17 is rock solid....

So Roger, i can only suggest, uninstall all Vegas versions, clean up your system, if you use GPU Cards etc, make sure the latest drivers are downloaded and installed, uninstall all junk software you really not using, do a reboot and re-install Vegas.... If that doesn't work then we have to delve deeper!

Thanks Steve,
Unfortunately I can't uninstall all the software that 17 can't use because I still have to use v.14 for our PBS show updates. Mainly Boris BCC doesn't work in V.17

To be honest, all im doing is splitting a track or sometimes opening an FX Tab. I'm using MP4 Videos only. (Also the audio format is MP3 and WAV if you needed to know.)
