Hi-Resolution problem
on May 3, 2018 at 2:34:30 am

I've shot "HD 21:9 Cinema" on my cell phone. The frame size is 2560 X 1080, but the image is pixillated when it should be razor-sharp, right? Below is a link to the shot. Please help....

HP Intel(R) Core i-7 CPU

RAM: 8 Gigs
64 Bit Op System

As always thanks so much to you guys...Johnny In Orlando

Hi John

Frame size is only one thing. Is that end result from the original file on your phone or is this from after it was dropped in Vegas ?

MediaInfo on the original file would help.

24 fps
17,139 kbps
19,460 Total bitrate

Is this the file info you requested?

Yes, that's it! The original clip plays fine in the Windows movie viewer , but get pixillated in Vegas and the exported file.

Hi John

Is the original clip 24 fps exactly ? or is it something like 23.(decimals) ?

That is why MediaInfo is useful, it tells you exactly what the frame rate is and a whole lot more.

Vegas doesn't like files that have a variable or weird frame rate. Try converting your file to a constant frame rate with software like Handbrake.

Cheers !
