I have been using Vegas 6 infrequently for some time. I am no professional but have managed fairly good quality recordings for guided meditations with background music.
I am using an old machine Windows EX off line and have a library of old files saved as both veg and wav.
This is my problem: I saved my recent edited Vegas file to a desk top folder and when I tried to open them from either vegas or windows explorer I get the following error message (box) which seems to indicate that the program is searching for a wav file in the completely wrong place on an external hard drive even though the appropriate sfk file is also in the same folder.
"The following file could not be found in the specified location C...\deasktop\...vis1.wav
Then there are also a number of options in the error box none of which solve the problem.
I did open the program twice so as to copy and paste tracks from several files then toggled between the open applications but this never caused this problem before.
