I'm currently using SVP13, and when I used to mask, everything used to work out fine. However, when I'm masking, there are often those pesky parts inside of the current mask that you have to remove too. Usually, I would mask it like I would any other mask, and a tab with the options 'add, subtract, etc.' would pop up automatically. However, for some reason, this doesn't work anymore and I'm not sure why?? Any help on what I could do to fix this?
Are you in the Pan/Crop tool? I don't recall it ever prompting, but if you change to the arrow tool to select one mask, you should be able to select the mode of positive or negative under Path on the lefthand side of the Pan/Crop dialog. If you do not see Mode, Opacity, or Feather options, then click the + symbol next to Path to expand those options.
