Never had this happen before, so I am puzzled. The video looks fine when I am editing in SV Pro 12. However, when I render and bring it into DVDA, the audio is fine, but in several areas of the video the screen shows totally black. I tried rendering those sections as an AVI, then rendering the whole project as NTSC Widescreen as I typically do. This showed the same results. I thought of recapturing that part of the video, and re-editing, but want to see if there are other ideas. Thanks in advance, Jim Murphy

I see this from time to time and just re-render from Vegas and it fixes itself. Also make sure "Quantize to frames" is on.

Steve,
I re-rendered. "Quantize to Frames" was already checked. The problem is still showing up.

The only other thing I can think to do is to recapture that part of the video, take out the old clips, and add from what I recaptured.

Any other ideas? Thanks, Jim

It looks like everything is working ok now. I re-captured the video for the sections that were causing problems. I then re-rendered the project, and brought it into DVDA. So far so good. Perhaps something had gotten corrupted. Not sure, but glad it is working. Best to all, Jim Murphy
