Problem with Cutting out Audio while previewing video in Sony Vegas Pro 13.0

Hello everyone,

I have been having a really irritating issue while trying to edit a video of Portal 2 gameplay for YouTube. This problem is as follows, I load up a file which has been recorded with Fraps into Sony Vegas and then I proceed to play it, But the problems comes into play here. There are normal looking waveforms in the video audio, But for some odd reason they just sound choppy as owt' and even the sound indicator bar is not moving for these random choppy parts of audio... Even though there is audio there, Its just like Sony Vegas is completely just refusing to play some parts of my audio recording, And I have no idea why.
(Also keep in mind 2 things, One, This has never happened before and Two, This only started happening when I fitted in my new CPU.)

Computer Specs

CPU : Intel Q6600 2 Quad CPU @ 2.40GHz 2.39 GHz
RAM: 6GB DDR4
OS: Windows 7 Home Premium
GPU: ATI Raedon HD 4600 Series

Anymore specs I may have missed, Just ask me and I will get them for you ^_^

One last thing, I have included a segment (Included in my Files) of the choppy audio from sony vegas which has been rendered alone and played. There is no choppiness there.

I just read somewhere about fraps audio in Sony Vegas. Try setting your project properties / video tab/Pixel format to 32-bit Floating Point (Full range). I know this doesn't make sense as it's a video setting but this worked for someone else experiencing this same problem. Let us know if it works. Danny
