Okay, so I've just upgraded from Movie Maker. Rendering takes 3 hours for a 13 minute video. It's 1920x1080, 30 fps, set to best, using openCL. I also have it prioritised on cpu, as I thought that would help. It not a very powerful laptop I have, but should it be that slow? I had set it to good rendering yesterday, but didn't use the graphics card nor did I set the cpu usage to high in task manager. Any help?
Unless you are resizing the video, you can change Best to Good and get the SAME quality in HALF the time. There is a reason that Good is the default. You don't need to use Best unless you are resizing (e.g,., HD to SD) and it takes twice as long.
