Layalina Productions, a DC-based non-profit international documentary film company, is seeking a DVD Authoring & Digital Media Engineer to work on our latest feature documentary, which was shot in LA, Lebanon, and Pakistan.
This is a part-time freelance position with a hard deadline of February 21.
• Corresponding with filmmakers regarding deliverables and project needs
• Working with video (capturing, making dubs, some minor editing)
• Designing, authoring, and mastering DVD
Qualified candidates will have extensive knowledge of Final Cut Pro, DVD Studio Pro and Compressor, as well as related software (e.g. Cinema Craft Encoder, MPEG StreamClip, Handbrake, Quicktime Pro).
Layalina Productions, Inc. is a non-profit, private sector corporation that develops and produces Arabic-language television programming for airing on existing Arab satellite networks. Layalina's original productions address the misconceptions and negative stereotypes about the United States, its people, culture, and policies through entertaining and educational productions that are culturally appropriate.
