I am in pre-production for a short film and need help with one scene.
A girl stands at the top of a set of apartment stairs and looks down at a dead deer fallen at the foot of the stairs. The deer doesn't really need to move... maybe some breathing... with blood that trickles down from 2 stab wounds. The scene will most likely be handheld and the composite of the deer will need to be tracked/matched... but will only be a 4-5 second scene or so.
The scene will be low-lit, so it should be a bit forgiving, but it must be composited well and look realistic...
If I purchased a realistic stock 3d model, anyone feel comfortable they could composite it into a clean plate and match lighting/camera movement? If so, how much would that cost me?
I have had short films screened nationally and won several awards for my films... I also have a film selected as part of PASTE magazine's VIP DVD subscriptions that will go out to 10,000 subscribers... so your work will definitely get seen!
