keeping a 720x480 file at 720x480 when going to MPEG2...

hello-

everytime i take a 720x480 quicktime file and try to make an mpeg2 file it changes to 640x480.

i've tried resizing it, it still goes to 640x480... i've tried not resizing it... regardless, it goes to 640x480.

what do i need to do to make the file stay at 720x480?

any help appreciated!

Can you tell me more about your source file? What codec?

Also, where are you viewing your encoded MPEG file that is telling you that it is 640x480?

Have you recently upgraded to QuickTime 7.2?
