Curious if there is a noticeable quality and speed difference vs. Compressor at the same settings? The demo only allows 20 seconds encoding which doesn't really help me gauge the speed of Episode Pro. The layout is superb thought!

Is there a format or specifics you can give us? Just asking which is better or faster is not exactly a fair question. Each has a strength. Episode handles far more file formats in/out than compressor and you have far more filters to modify the video than compressor.

Sorry I should have mentioned, H264 encoding in QT, and MP4

The pundits at Streaming Media demonstrate that Episode is much superior at codecing H.264 than Compressor. I can't think of the exact articles at the moment, but I think it was one of Dan Ozer's articles. Compressor is really good at encoding other codecs though. I use it for mpg2s all the time. But Episode is one of the top H.264 machines.
