pIllusionRender - disregarding emitter properties Frames to Preload
on Sep 22, 2011 at 7:01:48 pm

Hi Alan,
I'm rendering an image larger than my screen resolution so pIllusionRender is automatically run. In the rendered frames, the emitter's loose their Frames To Preload attributes, so instead of having a 120 frame preload on the first frame, I end up with no particles. Is there a fix or parameter I'm missing?
Thanks,
Kevin

Kevin -- glad to hear you're still using pI! (Contact me via email -- I'd love to hear what you're up to these days.)

First make sure you're using the latest version. Check our website's updates page.

There's no setting that makes pIRender ignore preload, so you're not doing anything wrong. I suspect that's a bug that was fixed in an update though. (At least I hope it was!)

Alan.
