Importing a video background?

I've got the particle illusion 3 demo, and was wondering if I can import video into the background. We've got some goggles that we need to glow (like in splinter cell) but no means by which to make them glow, so compositing seemed to be the answer. Rotoscoping that would be awful, so I was thinking maybe particle illusion might be able to help. What luck! The Demo Sampler has a smooth glow that I can use. The only problem is that I'm not sure where to move the emitter. Is there any way to import a video/image sequence into the background to use as reference?

double click on the grey square in the layers window (upper Left). That will open a dialog for importing video. These should help:
