I've found most of the snow emitters, and they are a good base for me to start.
I'm doing a bunch of strom projection for a new opera in Calgary at the moment.
I need to add some wind gusts and variances to the existing emitters. I've played a bit with emitter angle keyframing, and some particle spin, but it's not looking right. Anybody have any thoughts regarding this ?
I'm also going to try to have the snow bounce around from the edges of the frame. I'm guessing that adding deflectors will be the key with that...
Any thoughts very welcome. I figure I'll be working on getting killer snow all next week, at least.

To add gusts I'd stick a number of Force objects around the stage, and animate their Strength up and down, as well as playing with their Direction. That's probably the best way to affect just certain areas of particles rather than all the ones blowing around.
