I need to create a "davinci style" paint stroke which will be reveling an object. Do you PI experts think i should tackle this in Particle Illustion or should I look for a different solution?

I'm not sure what you mean by this. Can you give an example, or better explanation?

You can use some of the emitters to do a "brushstroke" type effect, but it may not be what you want.

I dont have a specific example per say. What i had in mind is like u said a simple brushstroke which would reveal a high-rise building. I looked through all the emitters but found none. I'm I overlooking one? What Library do u recommend for "brushstrokes"?

thanks in advanced

Is this the sort of thing you mean? You have to manually animate the stroke thickness, which can be done in the Size graph.

Thanks for the file. but not quite. Maybe its just my lack of knowledge of the program. What i had in mind was a more fluid brush stroke like this: almost like a quick sketch - see link
