Controlling layers over time.
on Mar 13, 2006 at 1:55:30 am

I have three layers.
The bottom layer has just a tga file as a BG. No emitters.
Next layer has a tga series (with an alpha channel) from a 3d application as a BG. No emitters.
The top layer has no BG and one emitter.
During the animation the particles in the top layer fill the screen then fade away.
As the particles are dissapearing I would like to hide the middle layer and have only the bottom layer visible.
I cannot find away to turn off the middle layer at a perscribed point in time during the animation.

Is it possible to do this?

Thanks

You can turn off a layer's background if you have updated to version 3.01a.

In the background image options, you have to change the number in the Hold Last Frame box to adjust how long the sequence/image stays visible. You can also edit how much of the sequence gets used in the Sequence/AVI boxes.
