If I remember correctly, the wall was done in a 3D program (Maya I think). Why not visit the website that is shown in that clip? http://www.ahmad.tv

In theory, but I've never done it. You need some 3D skills as well as some camera-matching software.

Is there a way to do it in AE using shatter?
is there a project file somewhere?

It would be very difficult to do that in AE. Something like that requires a 3D camera matching software like SynthEyes or Bojou.

Thanx aharon
i know alan did this video with the layer offset technic
what i wonder about is not the camera movement but the wall breaks

Alan didn't do this video. The only part of our demo reel that I did was the intro and outro parts that show the particleIllusion and wondertouch logos. Everything else was done by particleIllusion users.

Alan didn;t do the video - it was submitted by a pIllusion user.

A 3D wall like that has to be done in a 3D program using camera matching software so that the wall follows the footage, and rotates properly.

Again, the wall is a 3D object added into the scene, and it breaks into pieces, which are also 3D.

This effect cannot really be done in a 2D environment, at least not in any way realistically.

Even if you were dealing with a still camera, so you didn't have to worry about camera matching, The problem with AE's shatter is that the pieces have to go some where when they break, and AE doesn't give you that option - the pieces have to go somewhere when they break, and it ends up falling outside the comp - no floor to land on.

i animated the wall using maya

then composited it with the original and manually matched the camera (took me a long time though)

for the wall i used the blend effect in AE plus other effects

this is a link for the shot breakdown (zip with images inside) just to see the various layers i put together
