I'm trying to mimic some effects I did in the Unreal Game Engine. The trouble is that Unreal has a particles per second rate and I can't seem to find that on ParticleIllusion. Whatever emitter I create and changes I make, the particles seem to generate at the same rate. Does anybody have anysuggestions as to what settings neet to be changes so I only generate 1 particle per second. Thsnks at on you guys are great.
The Number graph is what controls how many particles are born. I always adjust things by eye, but I just did a test and if your particle type's Number graph is set to 1, and your main Emitter's Number graph is set to 100%, you'll get 1 particle per second. 2 will give you two particles per second, etc.
