Script adding an expression
on Jul 26, 2017 at 2:59:44 am

I'm new to scripting and I wanted to create a script to add an expression to a layer
the expression is supposed to link a propery to an expression controler, or in my case I'm using a pseudo effect.
I did some research here in the forums but I haven't been able to make it work.
The problem seems to be that the names inside the parentheses ("name") are causing problems when they are inside more quotes "" like this
"("name")("name")"
Is there a way to get around that?

comp("Comp 1").layer("Color Controls").effect("Liquid Color")("Color Top")

I use '. Something like '("name")("name")'.
