Stopping an expression at a certain time
on May 25, 2017 at 1:01:18 am

Hey,

So I am working on a clock animation, specifically the second hand movement.

The clip is only 10 seconds, and it shows the second hand going from 50 seconds to 60 seconds, stopping at the 12 o'clock mark.
But I need the second hand to stop at the 12 o'clock mark at 8 seconds instead of 10. Exactly like a Mondaine watch would do.
I have this expression and I have tried to checkbox control it, but it moves the starting point of my second hand, which I don't want.

I found it from another thread and tweaked it, but now I am stuck with this part of the clock. I don't want the speed of the second hand to change.

Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank-you.

Andy.

ttf=timeToFrames(t = time + thisComp.displayStartTime, fps = 1.0 / thisComp.frameDuration, isDuration = false);
compFrameRate=4.95;
angle=Math.floor(ttf/compFrameRate)*1;
if (ttf % compFrameRate == 0) {
angle+=.5;
} else if (ttf % compFrameRate ==1) {
angle-=.5;
}
