Inertial Bounce issue

Hi,

I've been using this expression in a few projects and it's been working fine (please see below).

But today, I've been getting this message:

Error at line 19 in property ‘Scale’ of layer 4 (‘Button 1’) in comp ’scene/Share-with-moderator’. property or method name ‘vampMath’ in Class ‘global’ is missing or does not exist. It may have been renamed, moved, deleted, or the name may have been mistyped.

Could anyone tell me what this noob is doing wrong, please? Thanks!
Dan

n = 0;
if (numKeys > 0){
n = nearestKey(time).index;
if (key(n).time > time){
n--;
}
}
if (n == 0){
t = 0;
}else{
t = time - key(n).time;
}

if (n > 0 && t < 1){
v = velocityAtTime(key(n).time - thisComp.frameDuration/10);
amp = .05;
freq = 4.0;
decay = 8.0;
value + vampMath.sin(freqt2Math.PI)/Math.exp(decayt);
}else{
value;
}

Something happened to your * and < symbols. You should go back to a previous version.

Thanks Dan! That was exactly what it was. Working fine now. Thanks for getting back to me so quickly. One day I'll learn the mathematics rather than just copying and pasting code :)

No, you just need a version that has the < and * symbols included, like this:

n = 0;
if (numKeys > 0){
n = nearestKey(time).index;
if (key(n).time > time) n--;
}
if (n == 0){
t = 0;
}else{
t = time - key(n).time;
}

if (n > 0 && t < 1){
v = velocityAtTime(key(n).time - thisComp.frameDuration/10);
amp = .05;
freq = 4.0;
decay = 8.0;
value + v*amp*Math.sin(freq*t*2*Math.PI)/Math.exp(decay*t);
}else{
value;
}
