Need to loop an animation created with expression
on Jun 16, 2015 at 10:05:35 am

I am working on an AE template where I've created a shape's trim property animates from 0–100 using the following expression. Right now it is based on layer markers but if I can avoid those that would be great. My idea is to keep two or three options for the user to decide whether to loop the animation or ping pong etc.
But I am pretty new to this AE scripting and finding it difficult to do it myself. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Also is there any way to have a controller for multiple shapes in the same layer to animate simultaneously or individually?

startFrame = thisLayer.marker.key("1").time ;
timeOffset = -1*comp("Contorls").layer("Contorls").effect("Animation Offest (Speed)")(1);
ease,ease (t=time, startFrame-timeOffset, startFrame, 0,100)
