"If color is x add marker or keyframe"

Hi, I had a problem somewhere in my pipeline that randomly placed single red frames throughout my rendered files. Yesterday this happened again..

So to warn me if this happens again i’m trying to write an expression or script to add a marker or keyframe every time a certain pixel turns a certain color (because its the same red every time). Does anybody have an idea how?

What I mean:

”if color is #FF0000 (full red) add marker”

Expressions can't add markers or keyframes (scripts can) and scripts can't read pixel color values (expressions can). So the solution might be a script that temporarily applies a sampleImage() expression and then harvests the value from it at each frame and creates the markers as necessary. Definitely do-able, but a bit of work.
