Just getting into scripting, so forgive me if this is either ridiculously simple, or impossible!
I'm rigging an animated character. I've chosen to animate a 180˚turn of his torso in a pre comp, and then use time-remapping to control which way he's facing. Works like a charm and in combination with a puppet tool, I have incredible flexibility with his body. But now I have to link up the arms and legs. I need to control them independently, but when the body turns they are no longer connected to the torso.
I linked the x position of the arm to a slider to simplify, and now I need
What I think I need is an expression that would say:
X position of arm is linked to the time of the body layer. with 00:00= 40, 00:15= 0 and 00:30=15
(the body doesn't quite turn to a perfect 90˚- I know this makes the math a little off)
