LoopOut() stop
on Feb 16, 2013 at 10:34:12 am

Hey,

I try to animate a character using the puppet tool. I used the loopOut("offset",num) expression to loop the animation.
After x frames i want to stop the loop and my character should stay where it is.
I'm using 8 keyframes and the last keyframe is at the 24th frame and i set a marker at the 150th frame.
I'm using the following expression :

stop = marker.key(marker.numKeys).time;

if (time > stop) {

position.valueAtTime(stop);

}
else {
loopOut("offset",8);
}

It works fine until time > stop. Instead of freezing at the position which the character had at the time of the marker, it jumps back to a strange position.
The x and y values don't make sense.
Does someone know how i can stop the loop and freeze the character after reaching the marker?

Thanks!
