Broadcast formatting

Hi there, I would really appreciate someone's input on this one. I'm shooting a television show for a local broadcaster and their requirements are Quicktime H264 – 1920x1080 (60i) - 59.97 FPS we will be using a sony EX3 and a sony A77. we typically shoot @ 29.97 for other broadcast clients so this is a little different for us. We already shot some B-roll @ 1920x1080 29.97 a few days ago. My question would be" is it okay to export the finalized project @ Quicktime H264 – 1920x1080 (60i) - 59.97 FPS from FCP and continue to shoot the rest at 29.97 and not have an issue in the end product?I'm typically a Camera operator and when we hire an editor it would be great to have as little messed up for the editor as possible. Thanks in advance experts:)

60i means 60 fields per second interlaced, not 60 frames per second

I'm not aware of anyone using 60 frames per second interlaced, which would be 120i, so perhaps it would be worth clarifying that.
