Does an AVI have a 10-bit or 8-bit uncompressed codec? I know I could pull it off in Quicktime. And if I did, the file size might be something like 1GB/Min.

If i render it as a Quicktime vid with animation codec, will that meet those specs? or will i have to do something else to it?

thanks

I render my starting files in AVI uncompressed, and it meets all broadcast standards, but then I am working with a PC. When requested for Quicktime, I render with animation codec. Quicktime is slightly larger when rendered than AVI, but the results are extremely similar.
