Which program?
on Aug 8, 2011 at 7:24:17 pm

Trying to fulfill the broadcasters requirements, but having difficulties...

They request mpeg2 1920*1080 35mbps cbr with embedded closed captions

I have a prores file, and can seem to get it to work in compressor.

As has been discussed on the cow already, in compressor and when working with mpeg2, switching video format to HD 1920x1080 disables CBR under quality>mode.

I looked at using Episode for the encode, but it does not support .scc file (for closed captioning)

Does anyone know how to do this... preferably on a mac.

I found this - FAB Subtitler - windows only. You could use anything that can build a compliant stream and then add CC after.
