Exporting TV ad
on Jun 21, 2010 at 4:29:56 pm

Im getting an advert ive done ready for broadcast in the UK. Theyve given me their preferred formats i.e:

8 bit Uncompressed QuickTime
625/50 Frames: 25 fps Frame size: 720 x 576 (16:9fha) Colour sampling: 4:2:2 (YUV) Field: Upper field first (odd) Audio: Integer (Little Endian) Sample rate: 48Khz Sample size: 16 bit Stereo

Apple Pro Res (HQ)
625/50 Frames: 25 fps Frame size 720 x 576 (16:9fha) Field: Upper field first Colour sampling: 4:2:2 Audio: Integer (Little Endian) Audio sample rate: 48Khz Sample size: 16 bit Stereo

I was wondering which the best way of getting my advert to this format. I have it in after affects at the moment; would I render a lossless version from here and use another program to convert it or should i do it straight from AE. I have final cut and compressor if thats any use.

Thanks in advance

Thanks Daniel.

Heard so many different things about this. A few people telling me to go straight from AE to the final output, which I wasnt sure was right, as I know AE wasnt designed for serious compression.

I will follow your technique.

thanks
