Digital Cinema Package - what is it?
on Jun 27, 2009 at 12:01:53 am

A festival is requiring a film to be submitted as a Digital Cinema Package. What is this? Is this a way or formatting a video or the format itself? That is, is an HDCAM copy of a film considered a Digital Cinema Package?

Any idea what a ballpark price for an HDV 1080i60 project to a 24p DCP conversion would be?

Just finished a commercial, documentary, TV production or theatrical film? Need to screen to investors? Or hold a cast/crew premier? Perhaps a press screening or submit to a film festival?

Digital Cinema Packages are the convenient, high quality way to get your film to the big screen.

Due to the economies of scale inherent in being a busy company, coupled with the fact that we like to support indie cinema wherever and whenever possible; we are uniquely positioned to offer excellent rates for feature film DCP mastering, dailies DCP mastering, rushes DCP mastering, commercials DCP mastering and music video DCP mastering.

Why screen from an HDCAM tape, when you can screen from a digital print — the new version of a 35mm film reel?

Carousel Media Company offers cost effective DCP packages tailored to your project.
