streming newbie

Hi everybody!
We usally do conventions and reportage of meetings and events. One of our customers wants to have all his events in live streaming on his corporate website. Can you please suggest me some hardware to connect to the camera to have streaming in .flv format possibly?
Now we use the Focus FS-4Pro HD and from the clips we get we encode all in FLV and the uplod to the server for the on demand version. It will be great to have something easy and performing like the FS-4 to obtain FLV and stream directly to the webserver....
Any suggestions? Where can I find some good docuemntation to study the different options and learn about this tecnology?
thanks for the patience and help!
Marco

Thanks, so I don't need hardware just a PC + Firewire. It will be great to find something like that also on Mac Os X!
