Thanks for the feedback, Windows Media Encoder will work but it will not accept my source files, I will still have to convert/encode them twice. First for input to WME and then in WME for the fimal output.
What I am really looking for is an Encoder that will take in DCVProHD MOV files and convert them to WMV version 8.
The Why is "the client" wants the file to be playable on older machines, machins that have WM8 installed. We deliverd a set of WMv9 files and they said everyting was fine, until MIS got a call.... and you know the rest of the story..
