compressing to QT 6.xx instead of QT 7- HELP

I'm having major troubles having a client using a PC to view files that I'm compressing from my mac. I know it's the age old problem...but I need a solution today!

I can't export (from FCP HD or QT7Pro) as QT7 and have the client dowload apple QT player because there is NO QTplayer7 for windows YET.

I can't compress to a WMV file becasue I'm using the popwire quicktime export plugin for mac and that loses audio sync...known problem acknowledged by their support team.

HELP ANYONE? is there a way to have QT export to qt 6.xx?. I also have discreet cleaner 5...but that sucks and I'm not sure if it will export to QT7 or QT6.

solution anyone??

The Quick file format hasn't changed in years. You just need to make a file with codecs compatible with the Windows version of QuickTime. Use either Sorenson Video 3 or MPEG-4 Part 2 (not H.264) for video, and MPEG-4 AAC-LC for audio.
