Quicktime command line encoding
on May 12, 2005 at 6:30:58 pm

Hi there,

simple question: Does anybody know a possibility to encode Quicktime videos via command line? Platform doesn't matter. The only workaround I'd know would be to use Procoder's ommand line with a droplet...but Windows Media Encoder and Real producer have very good command line interfaces, so I can't believe that nothing exists for Quicktime...

Thanks!

Squeeze Enterprise would give you better quality QuickTime than ProCoder.

And on Mac one could whip up something very easily with QTKit for QT7.

Hi Ben,

I've searched for a while...there seems to be no purchase possibility for this enterprise-edition with the command-line encoding. There's only a note in the forum that it will be "available soon". That's a pity :-(
