I have an emitter light moving in 3D space and a camera following the emitter. I need the emitter to emit a trail of particles (particle is set to textured polygon playing random still frames from a pre-comp), so the particles at the head of the emitter remain the same shapes taken from my pre-comp.
Can anyone help please?
If you need the particles at the emitter to stay the same I think you may need two particular layers. One with just one frame of emission and then 0 emission for the rest of the shot, the other constantly emitting. Hope this is clear enough.
