i'm quite a huge fan of this forum and the tutorials for some time now, i watched/read lots of tutorials, but i didn't find what im searching for.
If you take a look at the trailer from Dragen Age II ( http://dragonage.bioware.com/ ) there is a nice ... cloud/smoke/watter (don't know) effect between sec 5-9. Can somebody explain to me how i can make that kind of effect.
Basicly i got a logo with 3 spikes on it and i thought of making some kind of blue/red smoke disappearing into the 3 spikes. The trailer basicly got the stuff i want to make.
I would approach this effect by using a particle system like Trapcode Particular to create smoke that grows out of the logo, then time-reversing the particle system's layer.
