How to slow down framerate of PNG sequence (cartoon)
on Nov 18, 2010 at 10:07:22 am

I just finished an animated cartoon I did in Flash and imported PNG sequence into After Effects.

Somehow all renders from AE are on hyper-speed and I´ve tried bringing fps to 12 frame in Composition Settings but that doesn´t work.

Tried to slowing down the fps in Output Module but doesn´t work either

Any suggestions?

By default, After Effects imports image sequences at 30 fps. You want to correct the frame rate on the source footage, not just the output.

Select your image sequence in the Project panel and click the Interpret footage button at the bottom-left of the Project panel (). Set the frame rate to 12.
