HELLO. I am trying to move a camera through some rows of objects into z space and figure out the easiest way. I wasn't sure if I should place the POInterest at the end of the line and then key frame then camera position to stop at the objects, or just key frame the POI at all of the objects along the path?
Also, if I wanted to use a null object for the camera, would the best way be to pick-whip the camera position to the null objects position and control the camera POI from the camera?
If I parent the entire camera to the null object, then the null object would control the camera pos and POI all of the same, correct? And you wouldn't want that in this situation?
You can parent the camera to a 3d null to move it around in x,y,z. (Or use an expression to map the nulls position to the camera position like you suggested.) You can also create another 3d null and pick whip up an expression to map the position of that to the camera poi. Then, you can animate both nulls independently.
