After Effects 7 Help - Continuously Rasterize?
on Mar 20, 2010 at 2:01:45 am

I'm having trouble applying the continuously rasterize feature to a vector layer in After Effects 7. It works wonderfully on my friend's CS4, but I'm using an older computer, so CS3 and CS4 aren't compatible. However, AE7 is said to support this feature, yet I'm having no luck.

I've attached links to screenshots below.

The swf layer has no raster objects inside, it's a quick vector drawing in flash and exported as such. Yet on top of the no-vector maintenance issue, AE7 doesn't seem to recognize the alpha channel and output the bg as white instead of transparent.

Any help would save me hair on my head.

As was explained to you on another forum, After Effects 7 used QuickTime to import SWF files, and QuickTime rasterized them on the way in. After Effects CS3 was the first version to import SWF files with vectors intact.
