2 spheres....one around the another
on Apr 8, 2020 at 11:33:52 am

Hi... I have created 2 spheras with 3d elementes... One is higer and the other one smaller.

I would like to know how I could get that the little sphera move around the big sphera following the circle of the big sphera.

I mean that the two spheras are in contact in one point and then, the outer sphera follows the path of the big sphera.

Thanks in advance

well..you create 2 groups with the sphere in one and the other sphere in the other group (keep the spheres in the center default position)...now back in the the comp create nulls for you group using element.....now, parent the null to the other and rotate...this might not work because of the way the null code works..so you may have to create a 3rd null

Hate to promote my own tutorials, but is this the sort of thing you're after:

In the video, I have an Orb for Mars linked to a Null object, then I have a Null object for one of its moons, linked to the first null using expressions and I then attach another orb to that null.
