Audio Spectrum phantom beats when using Displacement Map
on Dec 16, 2019 at 11:50:08 am

Hi,

I've just got a weird problem. I added the Glitch effect to the text in my videos using Displacement Map and glitch footage as a source for the map.
But after that, I got an issue, the Audio Spectrum layer started to show phantom beats.

You can see clearly a lot of this ghost beats on this video -

If I render the video without the glitch effect, it doesn't have any "ghosts"
How can I solve this issue?
Thanks.

What audio track is your Audio Spectrum effect applying to? Coud it be that it's picking up audio from your glitch footage?

You could always try rendering out the Audio Spectrum effect as a solo-ed layer and then adding that as new layer.
